Author Bio
Nicole Mechem is a mom of two who wrote her first children's book the way most good ideas happen — in the middle of the night, after her daughters fell asleep. It started with a bedtime debate about how the Tooth Fairy actually gets the tooth. She loved their theories so much she couldn't stop writing. She named the main character after her own mother, who always wanted to write a children's book and never got the chance. Nicole grew up in Folsom and is thrilled to be sharing Lizabeth and the Great Tooth Fairy Blunder with the Busy Kids community in her hometown.
Book Blurb
When the Tooth Fairy accidentally takes Lizabeth's beloved comfort doll instead of her tooth, she has to find a way to make it right — even when making it right is hard. Warm, funny, and full of heart, Lizabeth and the Great Tooth Fairy Blunder is a read-aloud for kids 4–8 about the courage it takes to own a mistake and the magic that happens when you do.
